Blackmore farm is a unique 15th century grade 1 listed manor house built in 1486 by Sir Thomas Tremayle.Guests can stay in one of the three tastefully restored and furnished bedrooms in the main the main house (all central heated) or in the courtyard/ciderpress barn conversions in the grounds close by. Breakfast is taken in the great hall on a 20 feet long oak refrectory table surrounded by english armour and tapesteries.During the winter a log fire roars in the massive sandstone hearth. Blackmore is situated on 10 minutes from the M5 motorway in rolling countryside with views of the Quantock hills and within easy reach Taunton,Exmoor and the Coast. Wick house is an excellently appointed and family run 3 room bed and breakfast situated in a country location that is just minutes from the centre of Taunton, Somerset. Being just 10-15 minutes from the M5, Wick House is ideally situated for the business traveller and we offer free WiFi internet access in all rooms. The West Somerset Railway is also only a few miles away and run fully restored steam trains to Minehead on the North Somerset coast. Because of our location we are also a convenient stop off point for visitors heading further West into Devon and Cornwall.

Bishops Lydeard is the gateway to Exmoor and the coast also terminal for the famous Somerset steam railway. Lovely garden to sit in and Internet is available if needed.
